Exfoliate and do any waxing or shaving the day before. You will wear paper pants for the tan and we would recommend you bring loose dark clothing to go home in. The tan will last for about 5-7 days if looked after correctly ie moisturise, pat skin dry after bath/shower. We would advise to have the tan 1-2 days before the special occasion. We offer spray tans with Sienna X and St Tropez products. You can shower after 8 hours, if you are going to sleep before you shower, we recommend you use old bed sheets, or lay a towel on the bed, so it does not appear on your bed sheets

We offer 3 shades of tan with Sienna X which are Light, Medium and Dark. We also offer St Tropez which comes in 1 shade and this works with the melanin in the skin to determine the shade of your tan.

Our “tonights the night tan” by Sienna X is perfect for your needs, as its formulated to give a gorgeous tan that will develop quickly. Clients can be bronzed and ready to go between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the depth of tan required.

No, anyone can have a spray tan. However we will require signed parental consent for anyone under the age of 16.

We test a small amount behind your ear or crease of the elbow to make sure you do not react to the tinting products that we are using, this is usually done at least 24 hours before your appointment. You can waive your right to a skin test if you sign a disclaimer; this is usually for clients that have had tinting done before, but not in our salon and do not feel they are sensitive to tinting products.

Your eyebrow shape should last about 3-4 weeks and if you have threading (which we will offer from December 2014) this will last 4-6 weeks

Leg hair needs to be about 1cm long for waxing.

A Bikini wax is the hair removed outside you knicker line.A G-string is a higher than standard bikini lineA Brazilian is a strip down the centre and all the hair underneath removed.A Hollywood is all hair removed.We will provide paper pants for you to wear if you prefer and if the hair is long you will need to trim on the day or our therapist can do it for you if you feel more comfortable with this. Ideally the hair needs to be at least 1cm long in order to be waxed. The longer the hair, easier the pull and better the results. This is usually about 2-3 weeks of hair growth after shaving. We also offer strip wax and the hot wax method as standard, clients usually find hot wax more comfortable around the intimate areas of the bikini

Most women find waxing to be very tolerable, After just one wax session your regrowth will be much thinner, finer and softer. That is one of the major benefits. With continued waxing, you may even experience significant reduction in regrowth, which makes it easier and less painful if you keep up with regular waxes. Avoid caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours before your wax. Take a mild anti-inflammatory medication (like Ibuprofen or paracetamol) 30 mins prior to your appointment.

You can still get waxed while you are on your period. We just suggest that you wear a tampon. You are a lot more sensitive during this time. With the extra blood flow in the area, sometimes our clients may even bruise.

Exfoliation and moisturising between waxing treatments helps reduce in-growing hairs. We also recommend Tend Skin direct from the USA as our home care product which you can use daily. It’s brilliant.

Differences between gel polish and standard nail polish, there are now many versions of these products available now in salons. We use Artistic Gel Polish, it’s stronger than a nail polish and is set under a LED lamp and needs to be soaked off every two to three weeks. We use Essie as our standard Nail Polish which usually lasts for 4 – 5 days but can chip in between this time. We always give advice before any application and find out from you which will be the best for you.

The Artistic gel polish treatment ensures incredibly durable, chip free manicure that once cured with our LED light will last for 2 – 3 weeks with superior shine and easily removed when you are back, there is also a large choice of colours to choose from. This product grows out as your nails grow.

When you have gels, acrylics or tips the nail does go through a trauma as harsh glue and products are used and will make the nails and nail bed weaker. With good home care advice and treatments they should recover within 6 months. We offer a treatment called IBX prior to a manicure, gel polish or stand alone treatment, ask in salon for more details as this treatment will benefit weak and damaged nails. The IBX treatment needs to be applied regularly to get the best results.

Not if you choose to have a gel polish as it’s dry immediately, but for a standard pedicure you do need flip flops or open toed shoes to allow time for you toe polish to dry with standard nail polish.

When you lie on the bed you are covered with a towel so you feel warm and cosy. Our facials include a cleanse, tone and exfoliate, steam or hot towel, extraction, massage, mask and a moisturiser to suit your skin type. A microdermabrasion, Guinot Hydradermie or Guinot Beaute Neuve facial would be a good start. As a salon we offer a complimentary consultation service so you could come in with one of our therapists so they could analysis your skin and advise the best treatment for you.

We would recommend a Guinot Aromatic, Guinot Hydradermie or i.d.facial for dry skin. But again a complimentary consultation would be a good idea so our therapists can see and analysis your skin to give you the best advice.

Eyelash extensions can last up to 4 – 6 weeks depending on how well you look after them. We recommend you come in every 2 – 3 weeks for infills.

Yes we have a number of male clients who come in for a variety of treatments. For example facials, massage, waxing, manicures, pedicures, hopi ear candles etc.

You can have most treatments. However we would recommend that for some treatments you are over 3 months pregnant because of certain products we use. We do also have our pregnancy pampering package which is lots of luxurious massage to relax you. If you are concerned about any treatments you can have, please ask any of our team. We ask all clients to sign disclaimers for selected treatments we offer.

All our therapist are sensitive to clients modesty and would not make you feel uncomfortable. Our Team will guide you through our treatments step by step before your appointment

Tinting and Waxing treatments can usually be incorporated into any facial treatments. Please ask your therapist before treatment commences. Prior to having your tinting service with us please arrange an appointment for a skin test, this should be at least 24 hours before your tinting appointment. (You can waive your right to a skin test if you sign a disclaimer; this is usually for clients that have had tinting done before, but not in our salon and do not feel they are sensitive to tinting products.)

We are open 7 days a week with late nights on at least 2-3 days a week, We are closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and Easter Sunday – Check out our individual salon opening hours on our website or call your desired salon for our opening times to avoid disappointment during the festive season.
